About Us

The AV Youth Sports Foundation was created by parents who realize the financial struggle to keep our children active in sports. With the rising costs of competitive sports, we watched more and more children leave because it was no longer affordable. Our goal is to provide financial opportunities for teams and individual athletes in the community and to promote continued involvement in youth athletics.
Our Mission is to:
  • To advance education, combat juvenile delinquency, and foster the develop of youth by supporting access to competitive sports. This includes
• fostering the growth of players’ skills and furnishing opportunities for competitive play; • encouraging effective communication, cooperation, sportsmanship, and healthy competition; • developing the value and self-esteem of each individual participant; • creating an atmosphere where camaraderie, inclusiveness, accountability, learning, and respect are valued; and • providing quality coaches that teach proper safe techniques and ethical practices.

Our Vision is to:
Provide access to financial relief so that more children can stay active through sports.
We value diversity, promote equality, and challenge discrimination.

Our Strategy

1. Keep existing athletes in sports through financial assistance.
Partnered fundraising with teams and booster clubs to offset competition related expenses.
2. Develop athletic skills and improve coaching.
Sponsoring skills clinics and coaches clinics for various sports.
3. Encourage academic as well as athletic success.
Scholarships to pay for individual training, equipment and competition expenses for athletes who demonstrate academic success and growth.
